Abstract
Submit your abstract to WREC2026 and have the opportunity to present your research at the conference. If accepted, authors can present as an oral or poster presentation.
Please read the guidelines before submitting.
Late abstract submissions will be considered.
Your abstract should be submitted in the following format:
- Introduction
- Methodology
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
Word limit: 350 words.
Begin with a brief Introduction, providing background on the research topic, stating the research problem or question, and highlighting the significance and objectives of the study.
The Methodology should describe the research approach, data sources, tools, and techniques used, along with any models, simulations, or frameworks applied.
The Results and Discussion section should summarise key findings, interpret their relevance to the research question, and compare them with previous studies if applicable.
Conclusion should highlight the main contributions of the study, discuss its implications, acknowledge any limitations, and suggest future research directions.
Abstract & Poster Review Process
Abstracts submitted for presentation at the Conference will be reviewed. Authors will be advised of their acceptance and presentation type by 15 September, 2025.
The review criteria include:
Significance/importance of the topic
Aims and objectives
Quality of analysis/coherence of argument
Relevance of findings for theory/policy/practice
Clarity/readability
Overall evaluation (including contribution)
Publication
All papers submitted by the designated deadline and in the required format will undergo review by the academic review board. Selected papers will be forwarded for peer review and potential publication in a special issue of a high-ranking journal. All other papers will be published online in Elsevier’s proceedings, which include PlumX Metrics and indexed in Google.
